Lumino Platform — Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Lumino, a platform fully owned and operated by Axenda for Information Technology Services. By creating an account or using our platform, you explicitly agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Nature of Service and Liability

  • Lumino is a product and model under Axenda for Information Technology Services, serving as an intermediary technology platform designed to facilitate educational live streaming and management.
  • Neither the platform nor the parent company is an employer or sponsor of any tutor. Instructors bear full academic and legal responsibility for their courses, conduct, and materials.

2. Financial System and Payouts (For Tutors)

  • You authorize the platform and its operating company to collect student tuition and subscription fees on your behalf to secure and monitor the educational process.
  • Financial settlements and payouts will be transferred periodically to the tutor's bank account, after deducting the platform's commissions and payment gateway fees.
  • Lumino reserves the right to suspend payouts in the event of formal student complaints or a failure to comply with schedules and agreed-upon progress rates.

3. Student Protection and Progress Tracking (Progress Bar)

  • Lumino protects students' financial rights by linking course fees to our automated syllabus progress tracking system.
  • If a tutor fails to deliver sessions or complete the course, management reserves the right — after auditing system logs — to halt payouts to the tutor and refund the student.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • All course and session subscriptions are final once the account is activated and live-streaming rooms are accessed.
  • Refund requests are exclusively evaluated in the following cases:
    • A tutor permanently cancels a course; or
    • A verified, total technical failure from the platform's servers that prevents service delivery.

5. Content Protection and Anti-Piracy

  • All intellectual property and streaming content rights belong strictly to the instructors and Axenda for Information Technology Services.
  • Lumino deploys dynamic watermarking displaying the student's identity and IP address to prevent piracy and screen recording.
  • Any attempt to record screens, share accounts, or leak stream links will result in an immediate and permanent account ban without refund, alongside full retention of the company's rights to legal prosecution.

6. Governing Law

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable local laws and regulations, and local courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from these Terms.
